The City4Age project members can guide you through the tools offered in the Software Library

WHAT WE OFFER

Data gathering

City4Age supports data gathering from various sources. The pilots of the project have used mobile devices, sensors, beacons and even questionnaires to get behaviour data and import them to the system for further analysis.

Interactive Dashboards

Online interactive dashboards have been developed in order to provide an eye-pleasing and easy to use environment for working with data. Detection and Intervention processes take place through these dashboards where the care experts can assess and plan the care actions for an individual care receiver.

Generic Data Model

The City4Age Data Model provides a representation of all the basic actions and measures derived from the monitoring of care receivers via different data sources. Based on this, data can be consistently stored and analysed so as to treat algorithms for behavioural changes and risk detection and also provide a common technical base upon where all the communication with different components will be created.

REST API specification

The REST API aims at helping developers of applications and algorithms fetch data stored in City4Age repository. This data is represented by the Common Data format and the API is using JSON as the default exchange format of the offered web services. Full documentation of the API is available so as to make building of new applications easy and quick.

Risk Detection & Behaviour Monitoring

The library includes algorithms that help identify possible risks in elderly people' s behaviours. The algorithms are based on data modelled using the City4Age Data Model and use a variety of techniques and methods to identify risks.

Research Data

Documentation and public deliverables describing the methodology and literature about Ambient Assisted Cities are available for downloading. These documents explain processes, technologies and drawbacks that a city trying to provide a better environment for its elderly might meet. They can serve as a guide that together with all the other offerings of this Library can help officials and planners take better decisions for their city.
