The City4Age Athens Pilot Application consists of the following modules:
- Web based application for the end users registration and the collection and mapping of the Points of Interests (super markets, friendship clubs, cinemas, churches etc.)

The City4Age Athens pilot App innovation is that collects and interprets the data related to the elderly outdoor activities in a completely unobtrusive way. To this end collects data related to daily social activities and physical activities of the elderly.

This application integrated with City4Age core technological modules provides valuable information to the geriatricians, practitioners and care givers of the elderly end users.
In addition to that city service administrators can extract valuable information related to the senior citizens and provide accordingly services and conditions that facilitate their independent living.
The senior citizens can easily use this application using their smartphone without the need of any additional sensors or advanced technological gadgets. The application itself can provide to the elderly users and their care givers, practitioners and geriatricians valuable reports that are able to easily detect any abnormalities or deviations related to the daily activities.
Interoperability
The Athens pilot App uses only smartphones to collect the data related to outdoor activities. The data collected are provided using REST API. Thus any other data collected collected from any other sources can be easily integrated in the Athens Pilot App using the REST API.
